Who We Are
FLCRC members simply enjoy rowing. We recognize the many positives that can be gained from active participation in this lifelong sport, and strive to help our members achieve success in the pursuit of their personal goals in rowing. We love to introduce more people to this great lifelong sport, provide opportunities to develop, and welcome experienced rowers to join us as club members.
We row on the quiet and protected waters of the Bedford Channel, located between Fort Langley and Brae Island. We share the Fort Langley rowing boathouse with the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades Rowing Club, and Fort Langley Youth Rowing Society.
Our History
Fort Langley Community Rowing Club was officially incorporated under the Societies Act of British Columbia in February 2011 by a group of rowers who have been rowing in Fort Langley for several years.

Our core group is masters (age 21 and up) who enjoy rowing on a regular scheduled basis, most months of the year. Individual priorities include training for speed and efficiency, continuing development of skill and technique, improving fitness, and enjoying a fun and positive environment. Training and competing at regattas, both sprint and head races, is supported by our coaches and club. Review our programs here.
FLCRC is a proud member of Rowing BC and Rowing Canada Aviron.
The purpose of the Fort Langley Community Rowing Club is to promote inclusive and accessible competitive and recreational rowing and sculling as a means of improving health and well-being of the members of the club, with a focus on safety and in a spirit of communication and cooperation with our partners in the rowing community and our local community.
Committed to providing you excellent rowing programs and opportunities.
FLCRC is a community based masters (adult) club that welcomes both new and experienced rowers to this great lifetime sport. We recognize that our members have individual needs and priorities, and will do our best to help each member achieve their goals. We encourage fitness, teamwork, skill development, technical improvements, and want everyone to truly enjoy each experience they have with us!
